What Croatia's slot searches say about "upgraded" game versions

The all-time list for Croatia is Book of Ra, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush and Chicken Road. The July to August list is Sweet Bonanza, Chicken Road, Sugar Rush Super Scatter, Gates of Olympus Super Scatter and Sweet Bonanza 1000.
The second list is not a new cast. It is mostly the first list wearing a suffix. That is the interesting part, and it is worth being precise about what those suffixes actually do.
What "1000" changes
Sweet Bonanza 1000 is a Pragmatic Play title. On the studio's own game page it is a 6x5 slot with a published RTP of 96.53% and wins of up to 25,000x. The name refers to the multiplier ceiling: random multipliers reach up to 1,000x, against 100x in the original Sweet Bonanza. The same naming runs through Sugar Rush 1000, Gates of Olympus 1000 and Starlight Princess 1000.
What "Super Scatter" changes
Super Scatter is a separate Pragmatic Play series. Announcing Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, the studio describes a new scatter symbol alongside wins of up to 50,000x. Sugar Rush Super Scatter carries the same 50,000x figure. Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter and Starlight Princess Super Scatter belong to the same set.
A higher ceiling is not better odds
This is where the marketing and the mathematics part company. A maximum win is the ceiling of an outcome that almost never lands. It says nothing on its own about how often a game pays. RTP describes the long-run return, and volatility describes how that return arrives: a small number of large results, or a larger number of small ones.
